DSC-Chicago’s fall 2025 meeting.

The Data Storytelling Collective (DSC) is a first-of-its-kind peer learning community that helps build capacity for direct-service nonprofits to use data more effectively.

The DSC engages individual members through virtual workshops, online resources, and a self-assessment that identifies data storytelling strengths and growth areas aligned with our framework. Chicago-based members meet in person every fall, winter, and spring to share a meal and learn from one another. We’re also working with organizational members to provide customized training and technical assistance, and with philanthropic members to improve their grantee data storytelling.
